Can we meet you sir?

My name is Nonso Ifediora Diobi from Nawfia, Njikoka local government, Anambra state. I schooled at UNIZIK, Graduated in 2006. I studied theatre arts. My secondary school was called CIC. I’m from a family of five — three guys and two girls — and I am the last child.

What are you working on at the moment?

I just shot my own movie which I also produced and directed.

Challenges so far?

Movie making is like trying to pass an examination and there are also disappointments and delays as well. Another thing is when you call an actor for a script and he gives you stories. Also the high demand of actors before they can feature in any movie is something else. Locations matters too. When I wanted to shoot mine, location gave me problems because your movie will determine your location and the movie will also determine your cast. Every actor has roles to play these days. An actor is known for a particular movie role like Kanayo O. Kanayo is known for rituals movies, Olu Jacobs is known for the king roles, and Mike Ezuruonye is known for bad boy roles.

What is the title of your new movie?

It’s called Streetz.
